As our project progress continues, this week marked a major milestone for the When We Come Together team: building our first interactive prototype and preparing our presentation booth for the upcoming "Show and Tell" event at the University of Waterloo Stratford School of Design.
Our first prototype allowed us to transform our concept into a low-fidelity mock-up. We focused on creating an initial version of the interaction that simply displays what visitors can expect to see with the final product. This stage was all about testing the prototype with how visitors might engage with the installation, how the visuals will move around, and making sure the visual aesthetic fits the project concept.
In addition to our prototype, we design our presentation booth for the upcoming event. The booth will feature our updated visuals, promotional video, and interactive elements, allowing visitors to get a firsthand look at our creative process and overall concept. We also developed a presentation slide deck to accompany the booth to allow visitors to follow along with our project presentation.
This week's progress has brought our project closer to its full realization. Seeing the concept move from planning to prototype has been both challenging and rewarding and we are excited to share this first version of When We Come Together with the Stratford community.
